Kelly Battaglia – Clinical Director
My name is Kelly Battaglia. I am a Coachella Valley native and a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. During my undergraduate studies, I began my work in this field as a behavior therapist, utilizing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to help children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders and other Pervasive Developmental Disabilities. Working closely with families learning to cope and even thrive in the face of new challenges inspired me to get my Master’s Degree and become a therapist.
I currently work with Individuals (children, adolescents, adults), Families and Couples and I have been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) by the Linehan Institute and offer a comprehensive DBT program, as well as Skills groups. Sarah Parker – California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #104022
After enjoying the desert for many years, I have relocated my practice from Orange County to Palm Desert to experience the peace and serenity of this beautiful Valley on a full time basis. In over 5 years of providing individual, couples and group counseling, I have seen extraordinary transformation and growth in my Clients. Many had agonized for months or years with issues such as: infidelity, excess worry, overwhelming sadness, hoarding, job loss, career transition, sexual abuse, bipolar mania and depression, alcohol and drug addiction, loss of a parent or spouse, and disordered eating. My Clients appreciate my straightforward and non-judgmental approach. I will challenge you to be your best!
I believe that relief comes from understanding the root cause of your current difficulties. This allows you to self correct when you re-experience the thoughts and emotions that are keeping you overwhelmed and stuck today. I truly believe each person deserves to know their worth as an individual and to feel capable of making decisions in their own best interest, so they can live a meaningful and joyous life!

Rebecca Hames – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #96196
Hi, I’m Rebecca and as a marriage and family therapist I believe everybody deserves to be understood and heard. I’m someone who listens to understand you and the challenges holding you back from living the life you imagine for yourself. I help teens, adults and couples who want to make a change in their life but find themselves trapped by uncertainty, fear, grief, anxiety, or other life obstacles. Together, we find the edges of your comfort zone and expand them – sometimes gently and sometimes boldly – to bring about real transformation.
One of my areas of specialty is working with straight spouses and mixed-orientation relationships. When your spouse comes out, your world is flipped upside down and so much uncertainty comes up. I get it…I’ve been there. I know my story but I’m interested in understanding yours and helping you navigate the complicated emotions that come along with learning your spouse’s sexual identity.
I’m curious and will ask a lot of questions to help you uncover answers that I believe are already inside of you. I listen, not just to your words, but also to the emotions driving your story. When change needs to happen, it helps to have support and I hope you reach out.
